LASEK is a form of laser vision correction that combines elements of both LASIK and PRK. It is designed for patients who may not qualify for LASIK due to corneal thickness or other anatomical considerations but still want laser-based vision correction. Before the procedure, patients undergo detailed eye testing to assess corneal shape, thickness, and visual needs.
